It’s going to be live at Bay Park, Mt Maunganui…and

It’s going to be a great week of bridge for anyone who likes tournament bridge, whatever your grade…

You do not have to play all week but maybe just choose one or two events that may suit you (your partner, also!)

Are you Restricted Open? That’s National Master or lower as at 1^st January 2022

There’s 4 special events just for you:

October 1^st – October 3^rd (morning) NZ Restricted Open Pairs    5 sessions

October 3^rd (afternoon) – October 5^th (morning) NZ Restricted Open Teams 4  
              sessions

October 5^th (afternoon) – October 6^th NZ Restricted Swiss Pairs  3 sessions

October 7^th -October 8^th                      Restricted Open Teams       4 sessions

 

Or Intermediate/ Junior

Play all 8 days though there are 4 days with events just for you.

Wednesday October 5^th              NZ Intermediate/Junior Swiss Pairs  2 sessions

Thursday October 6^th                   NZ Intermediate Pairs and NZ Junior Pairs 2 sessions

Friday/Saturday October 7^th/8^th   NZ Intermediate and NZ Junior Teams  4 sessions

And some improver sessions given by top NZ teachers and players before play on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday suitable for all grades of player

Staying the full week?   Especially here for those taking part in Open events

Then enter events after the qualifying Swiss of NZ Teams even if you expect to make the knock-out stages. We will withdraw you from these other events if you do make the knock-out stages.

Cost of the knock-out stages is the same as the alternative events.

 

Know some Novice players in reach of Tauranga?

Then make sure you tell them about the Novice Pairs on the afternoon of Sunday October 2^nd, start time, a great event for those with no or a Novice Ranking at 1^st January this year.

Starts 2.30pm and they can enter in advance on-line or just turn up to play this event.

 

There’s time for other activities besides bridge. How about a brisk walk up..or down(!) The Mount?
