Opportunity- NZ Bridge Foundation
NZ Bridge, in conjunction with the Trustees of the NZ Bridge Foundation, is looking to increase the number of Trustees supporting the Foundation and invites expressions of interest from interested parties.
The Foundation, which has “charity” status, was established in 2010 by NZ Bridge with an initial investment portfolio from the Dan Gifford Fund. The Trustees are charged with managing and growing the investment portfolio and managing the grants process.
The Trustees are supported by a Secretary / Treasurer appointed by the Board.
The Board has identified that it would be helpful for applicants to have skills, experience or an interest in the following areas:
- Financial management and investment strategy
- Assessing and approving Grant applications from the wider bridge community
- Fundraising including seeking bequests and donations
- Promotion and Marketing
- Increasing the Foundation's profile among the bridge community
