Bulletin 2 - 2018 International Programme Update
The Asia Cup in Bangladesh has been cancelled. We understand that the APBF (Asia Pacific Bridge Federation) is in discussion with India to hold the Asia Cup there in June 2018. I will send out a Bulletin as soon as we know anything definite.
The team to represent NZ at the Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championship is:
- John Wignall and Kris Wooles
- Jane and John Skipper
- Jenny Millington and Barry Jones.
A youth squad is going to Canberra next month and after that event we expect to select a team to go to the World Youth Championships in China in August 2018.
Lastly although the International Programme is limited in 2018 I would hope that as many current and aspiring International players in all categories will support the South Island Teams which are being held in Christchurch on the 10th and 11th February and the North Island Teams which are being held in Palmerston North on the 3rd and 4th March.
