GOLD COAST TEAMS

Some Kiwi successes, some near misses at the end of the three days, 12 rounds Swiss Teams. Congratulations to Michael Ware, GeO Tislevoll, Michael Cornell and Ashley Bach whose respective teams made the top 6 in the Open competition and to Auckland's Kinga Hajmasi and Andrew Michl whose team contests the Restricted final after coming first in their 96 team section.

The hard luck story belongs to the RICHARDSON team below who were 5th going into their last match, losing 5.81- 14.19 to the top qualifiers KANETKAR when another 3.17 vps would have seen them into 6th place. RICHARDSON was the top finishing all overseas team in this event.
